The Brief
1 William Street is a major commercial tower in the Brisbane CBD. The brief was to fabricate lightweight, durable office screens and partitioning to suit the architectural direction set across the wider development. The screens combine woven stainless steel detail panels carried in an aluminium frame, with the full assembly powder coated to finish.
Our Approach
The client provided detailed construction drawings, which our in-house drafting team cross-checked before fabrication started. The check confirmed the screens would deliver both the functional requirements - stability, fit, durability in a working office environment - and the architectural intent.
Fabrication ran across laser cutting, folding, and assembly to bring the aluminium frames together to drawing. The woven stainless steel detail panels were fitted into the frames, and the complete assemblies were powder coated to the architectural specification before delivery.
